1943 DECISIVE
STALIN’S PREDICTION. United Press Assn-—By Electric Telegraph—Conyright LONDON, Jan. 4. Stalin’s chief political commentator, Viktorov, broadcasting from Moscow, declared 1 that 1943 must see a decisive United Nations’ victory. The initiative on the east front and Africa was entirely in the hands of Russa and her Allies. The British had crushing aerial superiority on the west front, while the American Army was reaching 6,000,000, whereof 1,000,000 were overseas. The British Army was already the same size as the German and was being armed with the most modern weapons while the British-Soviet-American coalition’s reserves were* rapidly developing. “Operations on, the same scale as the Russian-Ger-man w r ar will start in 1943.”
