LITTLE GIRL DROWNED
FELL INTO STREAM WHILE PLAYING. Electric T?lecraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. Falling unnoticed into the shallow W aiwhetu Stream early yesterday afternoon. Beverley Irene Allison, aged 2£ years, daughter of Mr and Mrs B. T. Allison, of 25 Norton Park Avenue, Lower Hutt, was drowned. At the time of the tragedy the child was visiting her grandmother, Mrs W. J. Allison, of Rossiter Avenue, Lower Hutt. and was playing at the back of the house alone when she apparently fell into the stream which luns through the property .
