DEATH AT SEA
PASSENGER ON MAUNG ANUI. Electric Telegraph.—Press Association AUCKLAND, This Day. As the Maniiigaimi was entering Papeete Bay. Tahiti, early on the morning of Monday, August 9tli in the course of Pacific Islands pleasure cruise a passenger nan led. William. D. Tucker, aged 52, a retired fanner from Rotorua died of heart trouble. On August sth the second day out from Auckland. Tucker sent for the ship’s doctor, Dr. C. ,S. Laurence, ‘and was removed to the ship’s hospital. where lie remained until his death. He was buried i ■ the French cemetery on the outskirts of tile town, the captain and officers of the Mannganui attending. Air Tucker was born in Devonshire, England.
