A Bill petitioned to pievcin. the spread of infantile paralysis to New 'South Wales passed all stages of the Legislative Assembly. Tt provides for the amendment of the Public Health Act and persons may by proclamation be prevented from leaving an infected area. The first death from infantile paralysis in New South Wales this year occurred at Goffs Harbour, tin- victim being a fanner aged 57.
