APPARENTLY GOOD PAYERS

Alexander Johnston, salesman, and Stanley Douglas Thomson, clerk, admitted using premises as a common gaming house in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. ”1 have never known a bookmaker who was not able to pay his line,” said, the magistrate, imposing a fine of £75 on each accused.
