BENEFIT DANCE.
SUCCESSFUL BA EDA XCE FUNCTION.
The benefit dance organised by the Football dub' on Friday night was a very successful function and, as a result, quite a goodly sum will l>e donated to the two injured footballers, Day and O’Donnell. Mr I. \V. Bremner acted as M.C. and Mr Peter Jackson’s music was greatly appreciated as were extras played by Mrs A. Tait, Miss D. Day and Air Hiko
A euchre party was held during the evening and prizes were won bv Airs Pearoey and Air Hiko. The Lucky Gay Gordons resulted in a win. for Miss. Sowry and Air A. In dev while Aliss X'. Curtin and Mr Hiko w.)il trie Monte Carlo waltz. Another competition was won bv Air F. T. Horne.
