(From Our Own CorresDondent.) Although the attendance was not up to expectations, a very enjoyable dance was held in the hall on Friday evening in aid of the school picnic funds. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Mavis Olsen and Mr Hugh Howat, while the lucky spot waltz was won by Mr and Mrs EllmersExcellent music was supplied by Mrs E. Olsen, and Mr J. Wilson played extras on the accordeon. All* Keith Steer carried out the duties of M.C. PERSONAL.
Mr and Mrs Maclntyre, of Wellington. have been spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs D. V. Sutton. Mrs A. Cleghorn, of Kimbolton, was a recent visitor to Mr and Mrs W. Olsen.
Mrs R. Gardner, of Rougotea, has been visiting Mrs J. Swanney. Mrs W. Roach, of National Park, is spending a holiday with his sister, Mrs J. Swanney. Mr and Mrs W. Olsen are visitors to Cambridge. Mrs Frank Alexander and family, of Wanganui, are visiting Mr and Mrs J. D. Piper, Makairo.
