ATTRACTIONS AT TURLOCK'S DRAPERY. Nowhere among the shops, is the Christmas Festival atmosphere so much in evidence, as at Tulloch s Drapery.-Ltd. The store, frhich has been tastefully decorated throughout, makes a picture, pleasant to the eye. This firm have spared no effort, to make Xmas shopping r. matter of pleasure for its host of clients. Never before in the history of this old established store, a long and honourable one, has there been such an abundant display and variety of all kinds or gift goods. Every possible market having been ransacked, to provide for the tastes and pockets 01° all. A Herald representative visited Tulloch’s establishment the other day, and was particularly impressed with the fine showing of men’s good-, lovely silk ties, scarves, socks, also silk underwear and shirts are here in abundance, besides hats (Borsalino’s and English fur felt) and suits In suits, Tulloch's take setae beating. For example a fine fancy worsted suit' in all new designs, made by the renowned “Petone” mill, and, retailed at 119 s 6d less, of course, the firm’s popular stamp discount, is particularly fine value. Going round to the Fancy Department, the hue showing of hander kerchiefs arrested attention. Over 1000 boxes of the ever popular “Hankie” have been imported direct from England by this firm, for the Christmas trade and this of course does not include the hundreds of dozens of this article, which are sold unboxed. In this section. too, ladies can find the finest range of beautiful silk hose from 2s lid to 17s 6d a pair, besides scarves gloves, sunshades, gar tens and nic lines of every description. Tlie shqjvroom. another section at Tulloch’s where trad© expansion has been a. pleasing feature, ladies can find new millinery models, new repp coates, new summer frocks etc., and all so moderately priced. The boys’ suit trade which is always a big one at this store, is receiving special attention this veer, and the firms offer of the gift of a hoys strong watch (given absolutely free of charge, particulars regarding same will be found in our advertising columns on page 1), has made this section of Tullceh’s a happy rendezvous for fathers and mothers fitting out their hoys with suits. The stamp discount will he issued right through the Xmas rush period.*
