PASSED A GOOD NIGHT SLOYV PROGRESS. United Press Assn —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 20. A bulletin issued at 11 a.m. stated that the King had passed a good niglit and there was a continuation of His Majesty’s slow progress. The Times states that the nation owes a deep debt of gratitude to the King’s physicians and surgeons for tlieir wisdom and strength of mind in circumstances of great anxiety and for the candour with which they day by day. told the simple truth about th e King’s condition. Now that hope and confidence may legitimately be felt, there devolves on everyone th e duty of maintaining an attitude of quiet cheerfulness. Six doctors were in consultation tonight, viz.. Professor Whitby, the bacteriologist, Sir Stanley Hewett. Lord Dawson. Sir Hugh Rigby and Drs. ITowitt and Woods. The two (last-named again applied the ray treatment. Sir Stanley Hewett is staying on. The Prince of YV ales dined with the Queen.
