SEAPLANE ON FIRE
END OF DE PINEDO’S FLIGHT. Electric Telegraph—Press Association NEW YORK, April 6. A message from Rooseveltdam (Arizona) states that De Pinedo’s flight ended to-dav when the seajplane Santa- Maria caught fire as the was re-fuelling there nreparatory to hopping off for San Diego. De Pinedo and crew are safe, but the machine is a total loss. Immediate efforts will be made to raise the engine resting on the bottom of the Roosevelt Lake, a.t a depth of ‘lO feet.
