WEDDING BELLS

HORN—GREGORY. The -wedding was celebrated at the Presbyterian Church, Hulls, on June 21tll, of Miss Rose Gregory, eldest daughter of the late Mr Chas. Gre-gox-y, and Mrs Gregory, of Pahiatua, and Mr Robert Horn, fourth son of Mr and Mrs R. Horn, of Manakau. TERRY—COOPER. At the Eketahun.a Methodist Church last week the Rev. H. Silencer solemnised the wedding of Sylvia May, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Cooper (Newman) and Norman; John, Son 5* Mh ixna Airs A. l'€rry (Nireaha) and formerly of Mangatainoka. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful frock of ivox-y satin, the long-'.graceful lines of whtch were broken only by a large bow at the side, lined with silver tissue and edged with iri-idescent bead fringe which was also a finishing to the frock. The embroidered bridal veil fraxried the face and fell to the liem of the dress at the back. A beautiful bouquet of chrysanthemums, fiesias and maidenhair I in with ribbon streamers was earri d. The bride was attended by the bridegroom’s onlysister, Miss Rene Terry, who wore a smart frock of mauve satin trimmed with silver, and a black hat. Her bouquet was of carnations, double pink may blossom and fern tied with shaded pink and mauve ribbons. Two little flower girls, Lesley Cooper and Pearl Humphreys, niece and cousin of the bl'ide) were attired in blue and salmon pink frilled frocks of crepe-de-cliinc respectively, with wreaths of tiny rosebuds in their hair, and carried flower-trimmed ribbon horseshoes. Mr Reg. Terry supported his brother as best man, and Miss Pike presided at the organ. After the ceremony Mr and Mrs Cooper received their guests at Thomson’s tearoom's, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of. Guests were present from Palmerston North, Feilding, Masterton, Alfredton and Pahiatua. The happy couple left later for their honeymoon by motor for the North, the bride travelling in. a navy tailored suit and small navy hat. She also wore the bridegroom's gift, a musquash fur coat.
