Mrs. Mackie was recently a visitor to Hastings, but has now returned. Miss Beresford, of Eketahuna. was a visitor to Wellington for the GalliCurcd season. Mrs P. C. Tumor, of Eketahuna, is visiting friends in Marton. Mrs C. Aulin, of Hataitai, Wellington, is the guest of her sister, Mrs J, Tripe, Eketahuna. Mr and Mrs F. Percy, and Miss Rose Percy, of Alfredton have been on a visit to Wellington, Mrs F. F. Fleury, of Mangatainoka, is spending a week, in Wellington

Nurse Marriott of the Masterton Public Hospital staff lias been transferred to the Pahiatua Public Hospital for six months’ training. Miss McManus, late of Hamua School, has been transferred to the staff of the Featherston School. Miss Molly Stubbs left this week for Taihape where she will spend three weeks’ holiday. Mrs Geo. Ironsides, who has been spending an extended holiday with her parents <Mr and Mrs C'. H. Arrow, “Hillcrest,’’ returned to Raetihi on Tuesday. Miss Swan, of the Pahiatua. Public Hospital, has been spending a few days’ leave this week with her parents in Napier. Miss Molly Crewe, Wakeman Street, was a visitor to Napier during this week. Mrs C. H. Arrow and Miss Lee Arrow this week spent a few days in Palmerston North.

Mr and Mrs H. Nevins, of Makuri, are at present staying at Cliff House, Island Bay, Wellington. Miss Aiioe McCardle, of Mangaumutn, is at present visiting friends in Napier.
