CAMPAIGN AGAINST RIFFS.
GENERAL NAULIN’S APPOINTMENT. (Rereived 11.40 a.m.) Electric Telegraph—Press Association LONDON, July 9. The Times, in a leader, states that General NuuMil's Moroccan appointment is an indication to the world that the campaign against the Riffs, is not a minor colonial expedition but a war op a considerable scale. It took France forty (calls to subdue Algeria. She is apparently ready bo devote as much time and energy as may lie necessary to pacify and protect the whole of that part of Morocco for which she is responsible.
