WEATHER FORECAST.
VERY COLD NIGHT. At 2 p.m. to-day the Government Meteorologist (Mr D. C. Bates) telegraphed the following prophecy:— The indications are for:—Moderate to strong south-easterly winds. Weather probably cool and changeable. The night will probably Ik* very cold, with frosts inland. Barometer has a rising tendency.
