JAPAN'S NAVAL ESTIMATES.
ESTIMATES SHOW INCREASE. (Received 9.15 a.m.) Electric Telegraph—Press Association TOKIO, July 9. A draft of Hie naval estimates for the coming year shows a total of 280 million yen. including 72 million for an auxiliary vessel and 8,000,000 lor new weapons. Compared with the present year’s estimates, the draft shows 60.000,000 increase; but it is liable to. drastic cutting at the coming Diet session.
