The boxing match at the Albert Hall between Jhonny Brown, junior, and Elky Clark, the flyweigli,t champion of Britain, was one of the pluckiest witnessed for a long time. Brown fought gamely until the last few seconds of the twentieth round, when he was knocked out. It was apparent five rounds earlier that he could not win and the spectators shouted to the second to throw in the towel. Bombardier Wells was knocked out in the third round of a fifteen round contest by Jack Stanley. Wells was booed.
