.JAPANESE MURDERS AMERICAN OFFICER. Electrio Telegraph—Press Association Copyright. (Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.) Tokio, January 12. Lieutenant Langdon an officer on the American cruiser Albany, was shot- dead by a Japanese sentinel at Vladivostok on January lltli. The reason is unknown. The Japanese Consul-General has expressed regrets to the American Consul at Vancouver.
