A DELIGHTFUL PANTOMIME.

At the Foresters’ Hall. Pahiatua. on Friday, tlie Stanley McKay Pantomime Company, under the direction of Mr George Stephenson, will appear in the fascinating pantomime, "Cinderella,'’ or The Girl who put her Foot in it There is about this fairy story ot tlie little household drudge, who was ill-treated by her sisters, and who eventually marries the handsome Prince, that makes a strong appeal to all. Perhaps it is that the boys all imagine they are Prince Charmings, and the girls rliink that it is possible they liyiy eventually marry a prince. Whatever it is the fact remains that ‘‘Cinderella” is probably the greatest drawing pantomime ever staged in any part of the world. Its interpretation receives ample justice from the talented members of the Stanley McKay Co. MrJ. Gerald revels in the part of the Baroness, and he is ably assisted ip his comedy business by Mr Will Rayner. as the Baron. Mr Rayner will also sing a number of the latest popular patriotic songs. The love interest is well sustained by Miss E*-sie Jennings and Miss Rosie Coleman. as Prince Chaining and Cinderella respectively. New specialty turns are to be provided by Miss Rubee Raymond, toe and serpentine dancer; Mr Will Speed, the tramp cyclist; and the marvellous Fredo Bros., in a musical acrobatic act. The box plan opens to-day at Mooie’s. where seats may be reserved without extra charge.
