Alessrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held a dairy sale at Mr C. Grant’s homestead, Hamua, on Thursday, 25th inst. Very good prices were realised for the time of the year, cows bringing up to £7 Is, average £5 7s 4d. Milk cans and other things brought good value. Also on account of Air S. Smith, Atea, the whole of his herd of dairy cows, sheep and other tilings on Friday, July 2fith. All the stock were in poor condition, consequently prices were low. Aged ewes in lamb 17s to 19s 2d. cull ewes 10s Bd, hoggets 13s, co"s to £4 15s. springing heifers £4 2s fid to £4 10s, small steers 345, heifers 24s milk cans to 10s 3d.
