THE TRANSVAAL AND BRITAIN’S SUZERAINTY.

In his speech to the Volksraad on the question of British suzerainty President Kruger referred to the articlo in tho Convention providing that foreign treaties entered into by tho Transvaal shall be referred to Britain, and admitted that if within six montlis any treaty was found to conflict with British interests it should bo disallowed.
