Mangatainuka School Committee

The eehool committee held their ordinary monthly meeting on Saturday evening last. All the members were prssent. Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence from W. C. Buchanan, M.H.R., promising to give assistance in getting further improvements. A letter was received from the Board giving permission to sell timber on reserve. A vote of thanks was passed to all who assisted at the working beo. The publie library question was further deferred until next meeting, further subscriptions boing necessary before books can bo purchased. Accounts amounting to £7 8» were passed for payment.
