Mr G. O’Halloran, the acting-chairman ©f the Auckland Harbour Bridge Association, Inc., who, with other members of the deputation (says the Star), attended at Wellington recently in support of the petition of 25,000 people for a bridge over the Waitemata Harbour, has been informed by the Prime Minister that the Government would be prepared to instruct their engineers to make a flying survey bf the. bridge route, in order to enable the association’s estimates of cost to be checked.
