MONTHLY MEETING. ■The monthly meeting of the Dunedin Presbytery was held on Tuesday morning, the Rev. Dr Cumming presiding in the absence of the Moderator (the Rev, A. C. VV. Standage). James Aitken, Moderator Designate of the Assembly, who was on a, visit to Otago to take part in (he jubilee celebrations of the Mosgiel Church, at which he had been a minister.
The Acting Moderator extended a welcome to Mr Aitken. The Presbytery decided to send a message of congratulation to the . Mosgiel Church on the attainment of its jubilee. Visitations for the year were arranged. Reports on home missions and vacant charges were made. » On behalf of the Foreign Missions Committee, the Rev. R. G. He could not s?e any great benefit other than spiritual impulse to the church, and he doubted the efficacv of the proposed campaign. Mr W. 11. The Maori and Home Missions and Youth of Church Committees were associated in the campaign. The Rev. H.
