COMPLETION OF EASTEE TOUENAMENT. The final games in the recent Easter Bowling Tournament were played on the North-East Valley green on Saturday afternoon, Mr J. Abbott, chairman of the Dunedin Bowling Centre, being in charge. The events resulted as follows; CITY PAIES. Final. ■ A Thorn and E. Fountain (Caversham) 22 beat W. S. Davis and W. C. Allnutt (Kaikorai) 21. PEOVINCIAL DOUBLES. Final. T. Sanders and W. P. Gale (Kaituna) 21 beat W. Brown and W. M. Hogg (Dunedin) 11. Third Prize. W. Maxwell and J. Esson (Stirling) 22 beat A. Porter and W. Weir (Kaikorai) 15. IST. KILDA BOWLING CLUB. The closing function in connection v-’itn the St. Kilda Bowling Club’s green took place on Saturday afternoon before a good attendance of bowlers and lady friends. The proceedings were carried cut in the form of rink play, a match being arranged. President v. Vice-president. The President’s side won by 10 points. Afternoon tea was dispensed by the lady friends of the officials of the club. The president, in declaring the green closed, opened his remarks by stating that there were 102 members, and not a subscription was outstanding. Tire Balclutha Bowling Green was officially closed for the season on Saturday, when an enjoyable Eed Cross doubles tourney was played. The weather was ideal, and there was a large muster of bowlers. Vi^ ol3 were present from the Stirling, Clinton, and Hokonui (Gore) clubs. E. Dunn and J. Eamsay (s) and J. Dunn and L. J. Edwards (s, Clinton) tied with an equal number of wins, and in the play-off the former were victorious by a small margin after a keenly contested game.
