I.W.W. IN AUSTRALIA.
TWO MEN EXECUTED. (By Cable.) Frank Franz and,Poland Kennedy, the Tottenham police station murderers, have been hanged, these being the fust executions in Sydney for four years. George Wilson has pleaded guilty to the premeditated murder of Pappagiorgi, a Greek, on April 5. In introducing the Unlawful Associations Bill in the Commonwealth House of Representatives, Mr Hughes stated that it looked as if Germany were taking advantage of the 1.W.W.. which was bringing disease into the economic and social body. The measure provides for the deportation of any foreigner found guilty under its provisions. The I.W.W. is suspected of the wanton destruction of Government grain in a shed at Pyrmort, New South Wales. The wheat sacks were cut open, and the grain allowed to run to waste, while the fire-hose was cut and the water turned on, with the object of flooding th© sheds.
