Juno 24.—We have had exceptionally mild weather eo far this winter. We usually experience very hard frosts in this district, but this season Jack Frost is conspicuous by his absence. Heavy rain fell on the 16th inst. We have also had this week light misty rain, with occas : onal glimpses of the sun. Farmers have been busily engaged in ploughing operations. Suppliers to the loc-'.l dairy factory are running their milk every third day.
