LONDON, June 21. Victoria Crosses have been awarded as follow : Captain John Linton, Indian Medical Corps. Captain Linton persisted in his duties under a heavy fire, though shot in the arms and side. Sepoy Chatta Singh, 9th Bhopals, for assisting his wounded and helpless commanding officer. He dressed his wounds and dug a cover under heavy fire, and then remained for five hours shielding the. officer with his body. He brought the officer to safety. MENTIONED IN* DESPATCHES.
