I A curiosity sent home by a Wanganui man in the firing line is the envelope of a letter which he had reci ivod just prior to writing. The letter had. been addressed to him. in the first instance, care of the G.F. I 0., Wellington, with his full regimental j number and designation. It was posted five months before ho received it, and in the ! meantime had been travelling from pillar I tp post, ultimately reaching him marked I with seven different addresses and hummer, j able post marks. Colonel G. Cossgrove, Chief Scout ComI missioner, estimates the number of Boy ■ Scouts in Now Zealand to bs 20,000.
