COMPULSORY TRAINING
LONDON, July 9
Earl Roberts, after an inspection of cadets, expressed his gratification at the fact that Sir lan Hamilton, as the result of a personal investigation of the Australasian defence scheme, had changed his mind, and now approved of universal training for England. SYDNEY, July 10.
This year’s drafts of Senior Cadets to the Militia bring the total of the latter to 50,447.
