THE FRENCH SENSATION
PARIS, August 10.
The bankrupt Deperdussin started in life as a chemist's assistant. He dabbled in everything, and became a great financier, a public benefactor, and a popular man. He spent 10,000,000 francs (£400,000) on his personal expenses, owned three motors, various chateaux, a luxurious flat in Paris, and had many women friends.
It has been arranged that Delaunay, Belleville, and Company will continue the Deperdussin works.
