A QUIET WED DOG
LONDON, August 7.
Lord Eocksavage married Miss Sybil Sassoon at the registry office in Buckingham Palace road. Great precautions had been taken to preserve secrecy, only a few relatives being informed. The couple drove to the office by a roundabout way, but a battalion of photographers was waiting, and snapshotted the party of six as they were hurrying into the building.
The bride is 28 years old. She will receive £25,000 a year, and was given £50,000 on her wedding day. [Lord Eocksavage (courtesy title Earl of Eocksavage) is the heir to the Marquisate of Cholrnondeley. He is 30 years of age, and served in South Africa in 1901.']
