The following is the result of the Aua* tralian Steeplechase: Bullawarra, 12.11 (M'Cabe) 1 Vanguard, 11.1 (M’Gregor) 2 Leah Kleshna, 12.1 (Morgan) 3 Also started: United Kingdom 11.1, Big Bob 11.1, Ckmtaft 10.5, The Miser 10.1, Emiroo 10.1, lleldas 9.11, Rogue's March 9.11, Statecraft 9.9, Pinprees 9.7, Kornang 9.5. Statecraft was the first to move from Tbo Miser, Kornang, and Big Bob. The second fence brought down Kornang and. Ckmtaft. Leah Kleshna then took charge, followed by Statecraft, Rogue’s March, The Miser, and Vanguard. Statecraft fell at the treble. Leah Kleshna, continuing to improve her advantage along the back, showed the way over the treble the last time clear of Vanguard. The last-named led out of the straight, followed by Leah Kleshna, Bulkwarra, and Rogue’s March. Leah Kleshna came again and was first over the last fence, but Bullawarra, making a fast run, won by four lengtlis from Vanguard, with Lean Kleshna si\ lengths away, followed by Big Bob, and Rogue's March. Time, 7min 58jsec. The Kno w.-ley Steeplechase resulted aa follows:—Master Paul 1, Flash Jack 2, Coradgill 3. Twelve horses started. Won by 12 lengths. Time, 2min 52iscc. Ilegarty rode the winner. SYDNEY, August 10. The following is the result of the Rosehill Hurdles:- —Don Ques 1, Monda 2, Wadden 3. Ten horses started. Won by two lengths. Time, 3min 56i«ec.
