PEDIGREE STOCK.
PURCHASES BY MR J. B. REID. LONDON, July 31. Mr J. B. Reid, of Canterbury, has purchared 22 Southdown ewes from ihe Royal stud at Sandringham, including two from the champion pen at the Bristol Show ; also 10 ewes and five rams from Ascot Park. Gns of the latter secured third prize at Ihe Windsor and Bristol Shows. Sir Reid has also purchased the filly Orange Pippin, by William 111 out of Field Sable, by Ben d’Or.
