A STORMY SCENE
HUNGARIAN ARMY RECRUITING VIENNA, April 2.
The Government has abandoned its army recruit resolution. The Prime Minister, Count Hedervary, made a statement in the House, in the course of which he said he would not make a secret of the Emperor Francis Joseph's intention to abdicate. He explained that it was the duty of the Government to restore the Monarch's peace of mind. There were stormy cries of " Long live the King I" which were answered by Opposition cries of "Long live the heir!" followed by uproar. ALLEGED COLLUSION. VIENNA, April 3. The Oppositionists declare that the scene between the Emperor Francis Joseph and Count Hedervary was carefully arranged in order to coerce the nation. They made bitter attacks on the Emperor and the heir.
