KING'S THEATRE.
Monday night's programme at the King's Theatre bears very favourable comparison with the many th'at. have preceded it at this popular place of entertainment. A prominent feature of the dramatic representations was the manner in which they were interpreted by the artists engaged, a notable example of this being met with in " Claims of an Oath," where Gregory is turned from his intention of killing his rival and releases Donia, a Russian peasant girl, from her oath. "The Boot-legger," who is an individual engaged in smuggling liquor, was another capita! piece of dramatic work. The other dramatic pictures were "Home" and "A Noble Enemy." "Brother Bob's Baby" was very amusing, but was surpassed in humour by " The Yarn of Baby's Shirt." The manufacture of pottery in Borneo was particularly interesting, and the other pictures were " Inhabitants of Jungleland " and " Gaumont Graphic."
