A JOCKEY IN TROUBLE.
AUCKLAND, January 11. The Metropolitan Racing Committee tonight upheld the appeal on a technicality of the jockey B. Deeley against the 12 months’ suspension imposed upon him by the Takapuna stewards. A motion was carried that Deeley be- summoned to appear before the committee on Tuesday to show cause why his license should! not be cancelled.
