FULLERS' PICTURES.

The new -programme- staged at the Princess Theatre on the 15th is a most attractive one, including all ranges of subjects, from farcical comedy to deep tragedy and from beautiful scenic effects to ludicrous eccentricities-’at the hands of the cinematographer. A truly beautiful film is cm® entitled “ An Ascent of Mount Blanc. This picture is. rich in scenic loveliness, and takes the spectator up a , delightfully tortuous railway, over bridges, through tunnels, through the, forests of majestic pines, waving their silver-backed leaves in the gentle breeze, up through the groves of stunted firs, striving for a footing on the „.barren heights, and eo almost to the region |of eternal snows, affording a beautiful I panorama of the icc-chul mountain tops. llt is a picture to be remembered. Another I series of interest is “Picturesque Zanzibar,” in which one is afforded a glimpse of the life of the native end a. sight of the grand forests which clothe this remarkable country. “ Noel ” is a film of some daring. It attempts —and attempts- well—to draw a picture of the blessings which the devout receive. In quite a different section is “ The First Floor Back,” a comedy telling of the experiences of the somewhat naughty adventures of a lady who prefers : the’ attentions of other gentlemen to those of her.husband. “The Lucky Winner” is i an absurdity which is pleasing in its pori trayal of rustic simplicity, and “The Mountebanks Son” is a dramatic story which is, however, rather difficult to follow. There arc other pictures, and all of merit. Mr Frank Martinelli’s orchestra lends not a little to the success of the entertainment.
