PARK FOR NEW YORK
N'EW YORK, January 8. Mrs Harriman has given 10,000 acres of land in New York for a public park, and '£20,000 for its.upkeep. Other millionaires in the State of New York have raised a further sum of £BOO,OOO to make the park the finest in the world, and to extend it 50 miles along tKe banks of the Hudson River.
