CENTRAL CHARLTON DREDGING COMPANY.

The tenth annual general meeting of shareholders in the Central Charlton Dredging -Company, held on Monday -afternoon, in the office of the company, was attended by eight shareholders. In the temporary absence of the chairman of directors, wno attended the meethig lai-er, Mr W. r». Reynolds was voted ro the chair. The Chairman said the report in the hands of shareholders showed the satisfactory position the company continued to occupy. The yields of gold were keeping up, and reports from "the dredgemaster on the 20th and 27th November showed the returns from section 1 to be fairly satisfactory, and this section and section 2 were giving better results than hitherto. -The dredgemaster was quite an exceptional officer, and continued to gi^c the company the best results to be obtained from the claim. He formally moved the adoption of the report and balance sheet. The report showed that 930cz 6dwt of gold had been won during the jea-r. valued at £3719 14s Id, making the total gold won from the claim 76820z 16dwt 6gr, gtoed at £30,292 Is sd. Dividends paid

On the suggestion of the Chairman a vote of thanks was passed to the dredgemaster and crew for their services during the year, and on the motion of a Shareholder a bonus of £10 was voted to the secretary of the company for his efforts during the same period.
