SIR LEWIS MORRIS.
LONDON, November 12. Sir Lewis Moms, poet, scholaT, politician, and journalist, is dead, in his seventy-fifth year.
Sir Lewis Morris was born at Carmarthen in January, 1833. Be adopted law as a profession, and practised from 1861 till 1881, chiefly a 6 a conveyancing counsel. He was one of the pioneer* of the education movement in Wales, and was at one time deputychancellor of the University of Wales aleo vice-president of the University College, Aberystwyth. In addition to writing a number of poems, the deaceased produced many articles and addresses on literary and educational subjects.
