TAIERI BOWLING CLUB.

Xhe annual meeting of the Taieri Bowl' ing ©tub- was- held at MosgieL on Thursday, 25th inst. the president (Mr John Dtyden) was in the ohair, and about 40 member* were present. The annual report (published last week) and balance sheet, which showed a net balance of £86 17« sd, were taken as read, and adopted. , I The President congratulated the club on the success of the .-reason's play. and also ' on the success of the bazaar, which contributed so handsomely to the present financial position of the club. The President remarked that country members •weiß a little doubtful as to the powers which should be conferred on the various directing bedaes, and suggested that the cteb'c delegates should insist-on the new. constitution being submitted to the varaoud , clubs before final adoption.
