NEW UNIVERSITY BUILDINGS
— • OPENED BY THE KING AND QUEEN. LONDON, July 27. King Edward and Queen Alexandra opened the new buildings at the University College School, at Frognal, London. Miss Ada Crossley .sang the National Anthem. Baron Monkswell read the council's address, dwelling on the fact that the school had for three-quarters of a century been a nursing mother to men who played a conspicuous part in moulding the destinies of the Empire. « King Edward replied that he was confident that the youth of the nation wa6 full of promise. He said he was gratified to hear that the great colonies recognised the excellence of British schools and were anxious where possible to send their children Home.
