STATISTICAL RETUENS. WELLINGTON, May 11.

The Customs revenue collected in the colony during the March quarter of the year totalled £738,433, as compared with £697,187 for the corresponding quarter of 1905. Chief items were : —Spirits, £119,682; manufactured tobacco, £88.895; sugar. molasses, and treacle, £58,986; goods by weight— general tariff £48.024, preferential tariff £1792; goods ad valorem— general tariff £325,145, preferential tariff £12.953; wines, £8913; ale, beer, etc.. £5301; tea. £152.
