Work at the Kirwin's Reward mine, Victoria Range, has been temporarily suspended, 'llie directors of the company have struck a call. o£ twopence per share. } For some time past iis« authorities at the ■ Globe mine have beer, endeavouring to locate j a new reef, and have succeeded in doing so. • The prospects are good. Development work is still going on at the new find at Blackwater. The reef has been traced a distance of 902 ft, and without running out. The stone will average an ounce ' to the ton. I
