CLEARING SALE AT WHERE FLAT.
The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association of New Zealand (Limited) report: — We held a clearing sale of dairy cows, young ■cattle, horses, and farming implements, on account of Mrs Turner, at her homestead, Whare Flat, on Tuesday, the 28th March. There was a good attendance of settlers from the ' surrounding district, who displayed considerable energy in bidding and putting the sale through to the satisfaction of the vendor, who had decided to naake her offering quite unreserved. The whole of the cattle, horses, and implements were disposed of at satisfactory prices.
