CLEARING SALE AT GIMMERBURN.

The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association of New Zealand (Limited) report: — We leld a clearing sale at Mr Peter Law's farm, on the Gimmerburn. on Thursday last, the 53rd March, when there was a splendid attendance of farmers from all parts of the Manioioto. It being well known that Mr Law iad leased his farm, and being so well kec-wn in the district and an extremely popular neighbour, the large gathering became Very enthusiastic, and. after partaking of a. splendid luncheon, decided to give their old iriend a good send-off, and which they did by bidding Ireely for all lots offered, and the .result was a speedy clearance of the whole of the offering, wiich was- made up of several lines of good cattle and a. number of good colts and fillies, and several brood mares with foals at loot, all of which realised highly satisfactory prices.
