VTieat. — A few lines of prime quality are changing hands, but buyers show no desire to operate at all frec-ly. We quote: Prime milling, 2» 9d to 3s; fowl wheat (whole), 2s 2£d to 2s 3£d per bushel (sacks extra). Oots. — There is a sma>ll dama.nd fox good quality, but other sorts are neglected. We quote: Prime milling, Is 4id to Is 5Jd; good feed, Is 3d tj Is 4d per bushel (sacks extra). Chaff. — There is a- better, demanol for all lanes of good quality. We quote: Prime bright oaten, 50s to 65s per ton (sacks extra).
Potatoes. — The market iemains unchanged. "Wo quote: Prime Oamaru Derwents, 35s to 87s 6d; extra.- prime, 40s per ton, (sacks in).
DAIRY PRODUCE KEPORT
Butter. — Salt, 7Jd' to BJd; fresh cooking, 6Jcl to 7ftd per lb. "
Pigs.— Slightly easier. (1001b to 1701b), 4d io 4Jd per lb.
Poultry. — Fair demand. Hens, 2s 6d to 2s 8d; roosters, 2s Dd to 3s 6dl; ducks, 3s 3d to 4s per pair.
