In the Legislative Council on Wednesday a motion was carried recommending that as a site could not be secured in Wellington, the Victoria College should be removed to Nelson. The Criminal Code Amendment and Testator's Family Maintenance Bills were passed, while the Shops and Offices Bill was reported from committee with amendments.
