-. Wheat. — The., demand is quiet, millers in the . meantime buying ( sparingly, and only prime .quality at that: ■ The demand for, fowl ■ iced is quiet. sorts are quoted at Is 6d to Is 9d; milling, Is lOd to 2s; prime malting, 2s 6d to 2s 9d. Ryecorn, nominally, 2s to 2s 6d, no sale. Flour: "We quote £& 10s. Oatrnecl in 25's, JEII. Pearl barley, £10 10s. Bran, £2 15s. Pollard, £3 ss. Nelson Ifops are quoted at 8d to lid (f.0.b.). Chaff : Market fairly well supplied. Prime, £2 15s to £3; medium, £2 7s 6d to £2 12s 6d. Ryegrass: Samples of the new seed are offering, but few sales have been made yet. From present appearances prices are to mle very low. Buyers' ideas of values are : For farmers' dressed, Is to Is 4d ; extra, to Is 9d ; machined, 2s to 2s 3d ; extra, 2s Gd per bushel. Cooksfoot, 2Jd to 3d for farmers' lots, and 4d to 5d for machined. Linseed, £10. Pressed straw, 27s Gd. Clover hay, £3 to £3 6s. Nitrate of soda, JEIS. Cloveis, rape, etc., all fresh.

Potatoes. — Kidneys (slow of sale), 303 to 355 ; Derwenls, 40s to 455.

Hides, 4d to 4£d, according to weight and condition. Tallow.— Rough fat, 13? to 14s; rendered, 15s to 18s ; extra, to 21s per cwt. Horsehair, Is 2d to Is 4d.

Sheepskins. — Drs' crossbteds, 2=3 3d to 7s 6d; merino, 2s 4cT to 7s; extra, 7s 6d to 8s; pelts, 9il to Is IOlT; extra, to 2s 3d. We held our n^ual sale of .skins on Tuesday, when there was a fai v demand.

Rabbitskins. — Best winters are worth from 16d to 17d; selected, to 17id; springs, from ]0d to 32d; summer, from 6d to 8d; small, 3d to 5d per lb.

We have now erected a complete clover-clean-ing plant, and all our other machinery up-to-date is the finest plant in the Soirthern Hemisphere. Farmers are invited to inspect. We are ready to start cleaning now. Please consigir to our siding.

FRUIT AND PRODUCE REPORT. Eggs.— Vickery's preservative, 22s 6d" per case. Butter preservitas, Is 6d per lb; salt butter, milled- and dairy, 7Jd first grade, 6Jd second grade, 5Jd third grade. Pigs. — For good quality, 3^d, with a good demand.

Roosters, 2s, 2s 6d; hens, 2s, 2s 3d; ducks, 2s 6d, 3s ; geese, ss. Turkeys : Cocks, from lOd to lid; hens, 7d io 7id. These quotations are for prime quality. •
