HAWKE SBAY.
At the inquest on Harrison, killed by an explosion, on the Waikare-Moana co-opera-tive road works, the deceased's mate complained of the quality of the fuse supplied by the Government, stating that he* had recently lost five shots through failure to explode. A verdict of " Accidents 1 death " was returned, a rider being added drawing the attention of the Government to the quality of the fuse.
